PR Context

CodeCrab Docs · PR Context

PR Context is a short brief of what a pull request changes. Read it before the findings so you understand the change first.

What PR Context shows

PR Context explains the change; it does not list findings. It contains:

  • The PR title from GitHub or GitLab.
  • A plain-language summary, about the length of a tweet, of what the PR is about.
  • A denser technical headline and scope bullets.
  • A diagram of how the change fits into the code, with an optional alternate diagram.

When it appears

  1. Click a PR, then Start Review. Progress shows in Live Console; CodeCrab builds PR Context in the background at the same time.
  2. When the run finishes, PR Context opens first.
  3. Click Continue to PR Review Result to read findings inline in the diff.
  4. Later, clicking an already reviewed PR opens PR Review Result directly. PR Context stays available from the tabs.
